 In June 17th, 2001, in the frame of the 4th International Symposium “Modern Problems of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing” (Suzdal, Russia) Russian Society of Audiology was established.
In August 15th Society was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation as a juridical person.
Russian Society of Audiology was established for the cooperation of activities of all specialists involved in field of audiology, hearing and speech rehabilitation, development of diagnostic equipment, hearing aids and assistive devices.
One of the main goals of the Society will be integration of Russian specialists in the International Audiological Society and standartization of the educational and training programs.
We are looking forward for future fruitful cooperation.
